Hello Janine and other participants,
Week 03 has moved so rapidly that I struggled to match with other speed.
The tasks and topics for this week were absolutely new to me and hence became challenging too.
But the new challenge taught me new things.
The focus on “Listening” among all the four skills was a new and interesting aspect for me to learn.
Till this day I never realized the significance of this skill. I always put stress on speaking skill.
But the article by Lindsay Miller was an eye-opener for me.
The use of real and authentic text like radio, CD-ROM, Internet clippings for developing skill was never thought about.
Now I have decided to carry the first two, i.e. radio and CD-ROM (along with a battery driven CD-Player) in my class in the absence of Electricity on regular basis.
Moreover, I also came to know about Delicious.com which was again new thing for me.
Though I learnt too little till date about it, I hope that with regular efforts I will get on with it.
Overall it was a great learning week for me.
Hoping to learn more
Bye

Dear All
Good Afternoon!
How swiftly the time flies!

We are now towards the end of Second Week.

But let these two weeks were not the one like the earlier ones.

During these two weeks I learnt many new things and realised where I stand right now.

To start with, this course connected me with lot many people from across the globe.

The first week taught me how to create a blog which I did for the first time in my life.

Then I learnt how to navigate from one URL to another.

The first week made me realised how others are swift to learn many thing and I am a slow starter.

The second week gave me an insight into abcd model for deciding learning objectives.

Then again for the first time, I tried to describe my class.

The most important achievement of the second week was knowing about different search engines which I never about earlier.

So overall these two weeks opened many new avenues for me which I will be able to use for my students in the coming days in a better way.

Looking forward to learning many new things from the course and all of you.

Dear Friends
Good Noon.

As we have reached Friday, we are going to complete our first week together. In your company, I learnt a few new things about the use of technology. Moreover I feel pleased and honoured to be the company of so many learned individuals from the different parts of the World.

It was just the first week where I came to know about your vast experience and diverse way of thinking. While working in this remote corner, I never realized this. But I hope that things will improve soon for me and my students through this course.
Hoping to learn many more things from you

I agree with all my fellow participants who have aired their views about the guidelines and the rubrics.
The use of language in our discussions should be befitting to our position and academic level.
Moreover slang words  and short forms should also be avoided.
The language should be acdemic and the writing be very terse and precise.
We should also try and give our opinion in the bullet form and not in the form of running text.
Moreover plagiarism is a serious problem today.
So we all must help each other in providing the reading list and the URL.

Hoping to have more discussion with you all.
 Have a nice time!
